About DDS Seed Co.

In 1998, DDS Farms was one of the first farms on the Palouse to start growing Garbanzo Beans. There were few outlets to sell raw product to, so Dick Druffel and his three sons started DDS Seed Company, cleaning and packaging Garbanzo Beans and Dry Green Peas.

DDS Seed Company began as a small facility, and has through the years grown in capacity and efficiency. In 2016, we did a full scale overhaul of our facility, doubling our throughput and adding metal detection in conjunction with the already existing grate magnet for metal contaminant removal. The rebuild was completed in the fall of 2017 and we received our food safety certification from Primus GFS.

Since our parent company, DDS Farms, grows garbanzo beans, we are able to guarantee the quality of our product from start to finish. We are a small family owned and operated farm and the same people growing the beans are cleaning them. We have made it our mission to provide our customers with the best quality product at competitive prices.
